There are four total questions. The first two, include word problems that students think through how to meet basic requirements included in the sentences. The second two include addition up to the thousands place where students must show their work. This can easily be use for small group work, independent work, homework, or an assessment such as a quiz, test, or exit ticket.

Check out this five prompt geomtry challenge. It can be used for a group or be done independently. Each of the challenges push students to create a quesiton of their own based on the topic provided which include polygons, triangles, 3-dimensional shapes and more. The prompt tells students the questions are to be test-type questions but adapt as needed.
